A vision is a long-term desired future for an organisation or project. It is an inspiring and comprehensive description of what you are striving to achieve. In GoalEnvision, the vision is used as a guide to define the goals and strategies to reach those goals.
To be able to create a vision, you need to have the right authorisation. Read more in the section on permissions in GoalEnvision.
To create or modify a vision in GoalEnvision, follow the following steps:
Go to the organisation page in GoalEnvision.
If a vision already exists, click on "Show vision". If not, click on "Create vision".
You are now on the Vision and Mission statement page, which has three tabs. Select the 'Our vision' tab if it is not already active.
In the top text field you can either paste your vision or write it yourself. If you need help formulating a vision, you can visit the GoalEnvision help pages for examples and workshop instructions for creating visions together as a team.
If you want to use the AI function to propose vision statements, click on the "Go to the AI Vision Creator" button at the bottom of the page.
You are now in the first tab of the Vision and Mission statement page.
To help AI generate a suitable vision, it needs to know three things: your area of activity and three unique benefits or characteristics, and your target audience. Fill in these details.
You can also choose the style you want the vision to have, such as creative, formal or technical. Select the desired style from the list.
At the bottom of the page you can see that you have chosen "Vision" as the wording.
Click on "Suggest" and wait for GoalEnvision to generate a vision proposal based on your entered data.
You will now see the AI's proposed vision. You can either accept the proposal as it is or edit the text yourself if you want to make changes.
Once you are satisfied with the vision, click on "Replace current vision" to replace the vision shown on the organisation page.
If you want the AI to generate a different vision, click on "Suggest other".
If you want to exit without changing the vision, click "Exit".
